The Fort Worth Bowl is an annual postseason college American football game that was inaugurated in 2003 under corporate sponsorship of PlainsCapital Bank and is officially titled PlainsCapital Fort Worth Bowl. The games are played in the 46,000-seat Amon G. Carter Stadium on the campus of Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, Texas, and feature teams from Conference USA and the Big XII.
Notes Marshall University received a bid because the Big XII did not have enough bowl-eligible teams to fill all of its allotted bowl slots in 2004.
